Transformers HDO
The coupling transformer is intended for use in HV networks and is used as part of a static HDO transmitter powered by a transformer of the station's own consumption. It combines an isolation transformer and a coupling inductance. It is used to transfer the tone frequency pulse from the static converter to the external network.
Trafo CZ, a.s. supplies a complete range of HDO coupling transformers used in the HV distribution network in the Czech Republic. Dozens of coupling transformers produced by Trafo CZ, a.s. are currently in operation.
The transformer is air with Cu winding on the vn and nn side. The coils are wound on glass-textile cylinders and covered with epoxy resin. The load-bearing fiberglass cylinder is equipped with two clips for attachment to the structure.
